Wrinkles are caused by repeated muscle movement from facial expressions. Botulinum Toxin treatments, also sometimes referred to as Anti Wrinkle Treatments, are injections of Botulinum Toxin Type A into the muscles.

This can have multiple effects, such as temporarily relaxing the muscle to reduce movement and wrinkle formation, create lifting effects, reducing muscle bulk (eg to slim the jawline or elongate the neck), and can even help with excessive sweating!
